My other Camera is a small pocket Fujica MX1500

Although it has several limitations I found it convenient to carry
It is fixed focus and this causes problems in low light conditions and when backgrounds are fussy and close to the subject.
I use the macro mode extensively and this allows close up work to about 4 inches, this when combined with the 2x Zoom gives good results for studies of flowers and insects.
The LCD screen is not so good when the ambient light is strong, this makes close up work a bit tricky on sunny days. I suspect that this may be a fault with the screen as I believe it was better when the camera was new.
